Ultimate Thor Sculpt WIP

I was inspired to start a sculpt of Ultimate Thor in the style of Joe Madureira's due to a panel from Ultimate Marvels - Ultimates 3 #4 and just for fun/practice.

Latest Version:

W.I.Ps:
- Blocking out the face -

- Getting some more details down -

- Time to add hair -

- The nude Thor (Liked the afro better but sadly he isn't Luke Cage) -

- Added props and clothing base -

- Smoothed and started work on the muscle groups and clothing detail. -

CG Wonder Woman

Started work on the other half of the project involving the cyclops and it's a stylized version of Wonder Woman. The plan is to model, texture and rig both characters and pose them in an epic battle, then light, render and comp.

It's Mace Time

Vinod (the concept artist) asked me to do some renders for him of the mace. I thought I'd upload them here as well.

Here is a taste of some of the awesomness:

If you can't be bothered following the link, which I would advise since it's better quality on Vimeo, then here's the Youtube version:

Early Stuff

These are some of my assessments and work I did at Lifeway College where I studied Animation for the past two years.

After Effects Trailer:
This was a movie trailer I made starring me and some of my classmates. I only had one costume so I had to shoot each person individually on a bluescreen and then comp everyone together, which made the backstabbing scene quite complicated.

Created all aspects using Adobe After Effects, the brief was to make a 30 second trailer for a film or game.

LTR Assignment:
This is just one of the renders I did for my LTR Assessment.

The scene was provided by http://www.3drender.com/ but the rest e.g. the Lighting, Texturing and Rendering was done by me.

1st Year Final:
Just some stills from my First Year Final.

So it begins.

According to an advertisement I am looking at I'm the 10,000th visitor to Grooveshark and I have 40 seconds to press a button or I lose my prize, ah well, so WELCOME you and me to my new blog where I will start posting all my CG work and hopefully one day I'll be able to look back at all this stuff and see my progress.
Damn missed the timer I guess my prize will have to go to some other lucky bastard.
